How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is important before you start betting. 8tk10 mainly uses the decimal format, which is the simplest.
Decimal Odds
With decimal odds, calculating your total return is easy — multiply your stake by the odds.
That means a ৳500 bet returns ৳900 if you win — ৳400 of that is profit.
Implied Probability
Odds of 1.80 mean the bookmaker estimates that outcome has roughly a 56% chance of happening. The lower the odds, the more likely that team is considered to win.
Other Formats (Comparison)
| Format | Example | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | Total return = stake × odds |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳4 profit on a ৳5 bet |
| American | -125 | ৳100 profit on a ৳125 bet |
Android App
